Learn how to setup Outbrain for perfect interoperability with the Converge attribution dashboard.
Setup
For Outbrain, you need to change the actual URL of all of your campaigns (including new ones you will set up in the future). To do that, follow the following steps:

When creating a new campaign or editing an existing campaign, you can add URL parameters by locating the campaign and clicking the pencil icon which will open the campaign settings.

Add the following in the Tracking-section
utm_source=outbrain&utm_medium=discovery&utm_campaign={{campaign_name}}&utm_content={{ad_title}}&utm_term={{publisher_name}}_{{section_name}}&cvg_source=outbrain&cvg_adid={{ad_id}}&cvg_cid={{campaign_id}}&outbraincid={{ob_click_id}}
- Save your modification by clicking the Submit button.
📌 If you already have existing tracking set up, you can append this snippet safely at the end of the url, by using a
&
separator instead of the?
.
📌 You should not add a question mark or an ampersand in the beginning of the tracking code.
