Learn how to setup Pinterest Ads for perfect interoperability with the Converge attribution dashboard.


Setup

For Pinterest, you need to change the actual URL of all of your ads (including new ones you will set up in the future). The following snippet should be appended at the end of the URL of your ad:

?cvg_source=pinterest&cvg_adid={adid}&cvg_cid={campaignid}

📌 If you already have existing tracking set up, you can append this snippet safely at the end of the url, by using a & separator instead of the ?. You can change the URL in the ad’s settings under Design Your Web Site Ad > Website URL.

📌 The final URL may look something like this: https://www.mystore.com/pages/my-product-offer?utm_medium=paid&utm_source=pinterest&utm_campaign={campaignname}&cvg_source=pinterest&cvg_adid={adid}&cvg_cid={campaignid}
