Learn how to setup Taboola for perfect interoperability with the Converge attribution dashboard.


Setup

For Taboola, you need to change the actual URL of all of your campaigns (including new ones you will set up in the future). To do that, follow the following steps:

  1. When creating a new campaign or editing an existing campaign, you can add URL parameters at the bottom of the New Campaign/Edit Campaign page, in the Tracking Code section.

  2. Add the following in the Tracking Code-section

utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign={campaign_name}&tblcid={click_id}&cvg_source=taboola&cvg_adid={campaign_item_id}&cvg_cid={campaign_id}

📌 If you already have existing tracking set up, you can append this snippet safely at the end of the url, by using a & separator instead of the ?.

📌 You should not add a question mark or an ampersand in the beginning of the tracking code.
