Learn how to setup TikTok Ads for perfect interoperability with the Converge attribution dashboard.


Setup

For Tiktok Ads, you need to change the URL of every ad you are running (including new ones you will set up in the future).

The following snippet should be appended at the end of the URL of your ad:

?cvg_source=tiktok&cvg_adid=__CID__&cvg_cid=__CAMPAIGN_ID__

📌 If you already have existing tracking set up, you can append this snippet safely at the end of the url, by using a & separator instead of the ?.

You can change these settings in your ads manager, under Campaign > Ad > Select an Ad > Destination page > URL.

📌 The final URL may look something like this:

https://www.mystore.com/pages/my-product-offer?utm_medium=paid&utm_source=tiktok&utm_campaign=__CAMPAIGN_NAME__&cvg_source=tiktok&cvg_adid=__CID__&cvg_cid=__CAMPAIGN_ID__
