The impact.com marketing source brings your affiliate and partnership
performance (spend, clicks, impressions, and impact.com-attributed conversions
and revenue) into Converge, so you can analyze it alongside your other
marketing channels.
How impact.com maps to Converge
impact.com uses its own names for the levels of your account. Here’s how they line up with the campaign, ad set, and ad structure you already see in Converge.In impact.com’s API, programs are called “campaigns”. Converge reads them as
campaigns, so what you see as a program in the impact.com app shows up as a
campaign in Converge.
Create an impact.com API token
Converge reads your data with an impact.com API access token: an Account SID and an Auth Token.- In impact.com, select your user profile in the top navigation bar, then Settings.
- In the left column, scroll to Technical and select API.

Select Create Access Token. Enter a Token Name, e.g.
Converge Marketing Source, and a short Description. Set the API Version to 14. Select Next. -
Toggle on the categories below and check these scopes:
- Select Create, then open the token to copy its Account SID and Auth Token.
Set up the Marketing source
- Navigate to the Marketing Sources Tab in Converge, click Connect a new ad platform, and choose impact.com.

Give your connection a name, e.g.
impact.com | {Account name}. - Enter the Account SID and Auth Token from your impact.com API token.
- Press Create. Converge checks the credentials, then starts syncing your impact.com data.

impact.com reports performance per day, not per hour. Converge spreads each
day’s totals evenly over that day’s hours so impact.com lines up with your
other sources in hourly reports. Daily and longer date ranges are exact.
Do I need to set up Converge tracking parameters?

No. impact.com doesn’t support Converge tracking parameters, so there’s
nothing to add to your links. This source brings in impact.com’s own reported
spend, clicks, impressions, conversions, and revenue.

report. The reports available to you depend on your impact.com account, so if
yours doesn’t carry it, ask your impact.com representative to enable it, then

Converge. Closed programs keep the data they already synced but stop updating.
